Just before the bells ring out with the sound of another year coming to a close, I want to share with you the highs, lows, big lessons and best resources to make 2024 your best yet.
Let’s take a look at the year that was…
January – Nothing is Insurmountable
The High: Witnessing the profound mindset shifts of my long term client Chloe Markham, whose experience and laser focused action has fuelled my passion to bring Mental Fitness to every founder and leader. Find out why>
The Low: Waking up in excruciating pain everyday. I sought out a specialist for my chronic tennis elbow. To my delight I found a guy in San Fransisco.

A prompt to say, whatever is not going your way, there’s always a way to learn how you can take control and set yourself up for success.
February & March – Stronger together
The High: Working with the amazing Tara Honeywell and partnering up with Lucy Woolfenden. Both get a special shoutout for supporting me to share how you can build better.
The Low: Picking myself up after a skiing incident on the mountain, which left me searching for my friends on the mountain range with a cracked rib. It felt like the longest hour in history!
A powerful reminder that going it alone is possible but it’s much more fun and faster when we do things together.
April – A pivotal month
The High: Sailing for my big birthday. Surviving a storm and deciding it was time to play bigger. Once home, I pitched and won 3 big speaking opportunities for 2023 and another for 2024.

The Low: Waking up looking like the elephant man and not being able to see. Out of nowhere, I’ve developed an allergy that makes my eyes swell. Multiple creams, drops, hospital visits, 44 tests and counting, it is an on-going battle.
A sign that life can be like a ship on a stormy sea, even in the most difficult of times you can steer yourself in the right direction.
May – Grit or Quit?
The High: Fired up sitting on the Grit or Quit panel at Loughborough University’s annual Leadership Conference. We delved into the complex theme of quitting and the circumstances under which it can be a positive choice. Discover more >
The Low: Badly burned in the kitchen, days before heading out to four weeks of networking events, workshops and talks. Can you spot the bandage? Not ideal for shaking hands!
This freak accident, underscores the key message of Positive Intelligence –
Pain is a good thing, it’s an alert, a signal. How long you suffer is up to you.
Summer – Anything is Possible!
The High: Hello, Porto Santa Margherita, Portofino, Napoli, Capri, Positano and Amalfi. In August my Italian Riviera dream came true. Experiencing the most beautiful places in the world, on a SuperYacht! Want the same for you? Learn How
The Low: My voice starting to disappear when networking with a room full of Female Founders. The High: Flexing my Italian language muscles by joining the end of summer in person Freelance Camp event in Marina Romea; one of the most elegant seaside resorts on the northern coastline of Ravenna, Italy. November & December – Live and Kicking
The High: The incredible expert support of Ann-Cecile Bertrand and my amazing clients, Monica Sitta and Florencia Zulberti to help me inspire the the audience and organisers of the Women X Impact Italia in Bologna – my heart is full. Read more>
The Low: Nothing serious to report (thankfully) but I am still a medical mystery working through the process of elimination, knowing for every no, I am one step closer to a yes.
