Rewind to this time last year, I felt lost.
I was walking my family’s dog, Smartie, and struggling to find direction. I had poured everything into a partnership that left me questioning where I really wanted to take my business. My mum’s words about spending too much time on the computer echoed in my ears, and my dad’s health was declining rapidly. To top it off, I was in a relationship that made me question my sanity daily.
I thought I needed more inspiration to find the right idea to achieve my full potential – I was wrong.
I devoured content, read books, and attended events, spiraling into a mess of busyness – I had too many ideas and not enough clarity. By March, my sales pipeline was empty, my focus was shattered, and I faced a critical decision: close my business or fix it.
I chose to fix it.
The Turning Point
I made the biggest investment in myself I’d ever made and committed to finding clarity. I started 2024 with a business retreat, where I mapped out ALL my ideas using a financial planner, guided by an expert. The reality of what I needed to do to achieve my goals was a wake-up call. Some ideas wouldn’t get me where I wanted to go—and I want to buy an island, not just get by.
With a renewed focus and inspired by the results, I hired the finance expert as my first associate coach to join Vincita to support my clients too. I went in search of more associates, working with a variety of coaches over 6-months on sales, mindset, digital marketing, and wellness. I halved my workload, developed a routine to perform at my best, and built the foundations for a sustainable business. In three months, I earned back my investment and the funds to continue building the way I wanted to for the rest of the year.
